Have a look at this video of Dick and Rick Hoyt. I hope I am able to run an Ironman when I hit my sixties. No, I take that back. I hope to be the kind of man that will give sacrificially of myself for those I love.
When I watch the way Dick loves his son, I am reminded of how our Father loves us: Interacting with us at our level: Carrying us throughout the entire race of life (though we think we are in control):Giving hope and life when men said to just give up . . .
My first blog post was, in my humble estimation, a work of profundity and wit. It appears the ethereal goblins of electronic humor did not agree with me and have filed my first through fourth posts in their bottomless file-13. After many hours of wrestling with Wordpress, I just gave up and reloaded the upgrade. Of course I had not figured out how to perform backups, so SOL, tough luck, buck up and start over again…A tough taskmaster experience is.
Hopefully writing and publishing will get easier as time goes on. I guess I will just try to reconstruct this thing and get busy blogging soon!
