As if you are not already bombarded with all kinds of other mail: snailmail, email, voicemail, female, airmail, bulkmail, junkmail . . . Now manmail?

Manmail (hopefully) delivers useful discussion about being a manly man. We talk about becoming better and more fulfilled in our home life. Much of our discourse is about learning to be the man our families need us to be. We talk about being the kind of man our kids want to be like when they grow up. Being best friends with our wives is something we strive for here.

You will quickly figure out that I take a Christ-centered view of life, but am not clergy. Should I ever break out into a sermon please feel free to slap me electronically around. The net has thousands of sites where one can go to hear a sermon or study theology.  Manmail is mostly “rubber-meets-the-road” discussion. It is about the 3 relationships that matter most to me: God, wife and children.  

Together my wife and I lead a Sunday Bible study for young married couples. We have been married for 21 years and are raising 4 children who are in grade school, jr. high, high school, and university. My hope is that each day’s post will bring a nugget of encouragement to my readers as they strive towards the goal of becoming better men and well married.
